Saturday @ Casa Blue

Saturdays are for lying in bed until mid-afternoon and gossiping about last night's drunken antics. Unfortunately, some of us have to go to work at a bar that serves cocktails in fishbowls. Oh, to be unemployed and idle. At least we get some interesting people wandering in.

"Did you paint your nails like that?"

Yes, yes he did. He first painted a layer of red, then a layer of blue, and then applied a bit of nail polish remover over the top. I think it looks like psychedelic rust (whatever that means). Toby is our Most Interesting Customer of the Day. Congratulations, Toby.

Tennis at Madame Jojo's

We just saw Tennis play at Madame Jojo's and the general consensus is that Alaina Moore is pretty cute. She's got the same hair as Victoria Legrand from Beach House. That is to say, a poodle on top of her head. A stylish poodle. It did get a bit much when she started talking about how she used to work at American Apparel but got kicked out for refusing to straighten her hair and having a fringe back when nobody else had one. Yeah, we know you're cool Alaina. We know you went sailing with your husband/band mate and rescued little birds and wrote songs and all that. We know, and we're pretty jealous.
